About Diversified Hydraulic Concepts
Diversified Hydraulic Concepts is a hydraulic company that started in 2006 in Cottage Grove, Oregon. We have been working in the industrial hydraulic industries since the early 90s. We offer a full range of services and products to cover the full scope of our customer’s requirements.
Members of our hydraulic company have traveled throughout Northern Canada, Alaska, and all throughout the southern United States, putting our skills to work on various hydraulic jobs. Our team also has extensive experience with heavy industrial installations such as steel mills, sawmills, and hay export presses.
The knowledge our staff gained from working in a diverse range of industries means that we are not just a supplier, but also a problem solver and an advisor.
Louis Howell
President
Louis has over 25 years of experience in the hydraulic industry. He began his career in the logging industry, working throughout the Willamette Valley for his family’s business. Passionate about the water, he then began a career as a certified underwater diver, welder, salvager, and photographer. He worked in that field for several years before a slow time lead to working for a hydraulics company as a pipe welder installer. Since that time, Louis has worked for the largest fluid power-houses in the Northwest and has enjoyed developing customer relationships through technical support and services after the sale. Louis started Diversified Hydraulic Concepts in 2006 and has grown it to what it is today. He continues to run the business aspects while growing with the needs of the hydraulic industry.
Keevan Howell
Vice President
Keevan has over 20 years of experience in the hydraulic industry. He started his career in the logging industry working for his family’s business. He then went to school for metal technologies with a focus on metallurgy and welding processes. Following his education, Keevan went to work for some of the largest fluid power companies in the northwest, manufacturing power units and doing pipe installs. He specialized in compactors, balers, and scrap processing equipment, traveling the United States maintaining and upgrading them. Keevan joined Diversified Hydraulic Concepts in 2007, and now leads the engineering team designing hydraulic and control systems.
Kirk Vandehey
Fabrication, Repairs and Field Service Coordinator
Kirk Vandehey has over 40 years in the Hydraulic industry. Started his Hydraulic Career in Shipping and Receiving department, moved to Fabrication, Repairs and Field Service for 20 years, then moved to Inside Sales for 2 years. After that, he moved to Outside Sales for 8 years for three different companies. Started with Diversified Hydraulics in 2010 and is now the Fabrication, Repairs and Field Service Coordinator.
Mike Gonzales
Technician
Mike Gonzales has been a mechanic technician for 40 years. He started his career working in a machine shop, and then on to the Military as an auxiliary equipment mechanic. Caterpillar for 20 years, over the years working in the hydraulic field. But along the way learning all other aspects of job, fabrication, welding, electrical, hydraulics, engine and power train. He is always willing to learn more, making his job fun and keeping himself up to date on new systems and components.
Sunny Johnson
Executive Assistant and Office Manager
With over 20 years of experience in Administrative Office, Executive Assistant positions, and a track record of strong performance in high-volume, high-pressure environments, Sunny skillfully manages administrative duties and client relations for her colleagues at Diversified Hydraulic Concepts Inc.
Sunny has been the Executive Assistant and Office Manager since 2011 at DHC. As Executive Assistant and Office Manager, she ensures the smooth operation of the Company with her robust knowledge of office management and efficient handling of client inquiries, consultations, and timely access to sales staff as required. Also, Sunny provides support to the management and employees in fulfilling their ongoing professional development, training workshops, seminar presentations, and handles HR duties.
